GearBrain: OhmniLabs launches its new robot with remote controlled arms

At CES this year we were able to get an update from OhmniLabs about their home robot. For those of you who don’t know what OhmniLabs robot Ohmni is, it is home robot that is a rolling, video chat device that lets you talk and project your image, and voice, from anywhere in the world, as long as you have an internet connection. Last year, GearBrain tested Ohmni in the office and really like it. This robot supports a unique way of connecting with others through telepresence, which allows people to be a part of event or project into a home through technology, like video Skype calls or Google Hangouts. The only problem we saw with the robot at the time of our test was it didn’t have any arms. At CES, the company unveiled arms for Ohmni. We were happy to see it.
